Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join their team in Georgia. Responsibilities
- Serve as an analytical partner to Sales by providing insights that support customer growth and revenue objectives.
- Evaluate business opportunities and develop recommendations based on financial and operational data.
- Analyze revenue, margin, and performance trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop financial models to measure the impact of proposed business initiatives.
- Assist with pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and revenue optimization efforts.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Monitor key business metrics and identify opportunities for performance improvement.
- Support forecasting, planning, and other ad hoc analytical projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field required.
- 2-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, sales analytics, business analytics, revenue analysis, or a related field preferred.
- Entry-level candidates will be considered if they possess a degree in Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field and can demonstrate relevant internship experience, leadership in extracurricular activities, case competitions, research projects, or other experiences showcasing strong analytical and commercial aptitude.
- Strong Excel skills required, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other reporting tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and interested in supporting revenue growth through data-driven decision-making.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, during first shift hours.
Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary range from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits.
